CM MOURNS PASSING AWAY OF FORMER PUNJAB SENIOR BUREAUCRAT SS BRAR

Chandigarh, March 23: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Saturday condoled the sad demise of  senior ex-IAS officer Shivinder Singh Brar (67) who passed away at New Delhi after a brief illness this morning. 

   In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described the 1977 batch Punjab cadre officer as an able administrator and distinguished civil servant with the qualities of head and heart who served the state in different capacities with utmost dedication and professional commitment.

    Brar had excelled himself in every stint during his professional career, said the Chief Minister, extending his sympathies to the bereaved family.
