ECI GIVES GO AHEAD TO VARIOUS PROPOSALS

Chandigarh, April 15:

The Election Commission of India (ECI) today gave its nod for various proposals of Punjab Government.

Divulging further, the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab Dr. S. Karuna Raju said that commission allowed department of Youth Service to float the tenders for selecting Service Providers.

He further said that commission has also issued revised permission for Administrative approval and award of work of Construction of High Level Bridge over Naumani Nallah crossing Dinanagar- Taragarh Plan road in District Pathankot.

CEO said that permission for administrative approval for floating the tenders to start the work of 06 Government building in Ludhiana city to be made accessible for persons with disabilities under Accessible Indian Campaign in order to comply with orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

ECI had also go ahead for signing of MoU with NABCONs as Technical Support Agency and also gives permission for signing of MOU with 9 Industry partners and issuing of work order to 8 Training Partners for 9 Training Centers under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana-2 (PMKVY).
