Fox news ex-anchor claims Donald Trump tried to kiss her

-- 09 December,2017

Los Angeles, December 9
Former Fox news anchor who accused Billy O’Reilly of sexually harassing her in 2011, has now claimed that United States President Donald Trump leaned in to kiss her after taking her out to lunch.
Juliet Huddy, now host of a radio programme on WABC Radio, said the incident happened around 2005 or 2006 when Trump was hosting ‘The Apprentice’ on NBC, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
She said, “He went to say goodbye and he, rather than kiss me on the cheek, he leaned in on the lips.”
Huddy, whom Trump knew because she co-hosted ‘Fox & Friends’ on the weekends, said she assumed Trump’s lip kiss was just confusion, adding, “Oh, we went the wrong way.”
Huddy said she was surprised he went for her lips but “didn’t feel threatened”. In fact, she brought a friend back to Trump Tower so that the future President could give them a tour of ‘The Apprentice’ set.
Years later, Trump visited Huddy on her Fox morning show and made light of his advances, telling the studio audience, “I tried hitting on her, but she blew me off.”
She explained, “At the time I was not offended by it. I thought he was a single man and leaned in for a kiss. Now I have matured I think I would say, ‘Whoa, no,’ but at the time I was younger and I was a little shocked. I thought maybe he didn’t mean to do it, but I was kind of making excuses.”
More than a dozen women have since accused the President of sexual harassment or assault.
Huddy left Fox after receiving a settlement from the network following a sexual misconduct complaint filed against host Bill O’Reilly.
