People go to Bargari morcha to relish kheer langar: Sukhbir Badal

Amritsar, September 22: Akali Dal chief and former deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today commented that people go to Bargari morcha to relish kheer langar.

He said the langar management had now stopped serving kheer and hence participation of people was going down. he said Bargari Morcha people might shut their shop within the next few days.

It may be mention that Panthic organisations have been agitating in Bargari village since June 1 demanding action against those involved in sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib and the police officials who opened fire on protesters. Sukhbir Badal was the deputy chief minister when this happened in 2015.

Commenting on booth capturing by Congress during panchayat samiti and zila parishad polls, he warned the police officials who connived with the Congress would not be spared after the return of the Akalis to power.
