SAD to expose waiver fraud with POL KHOL LEHAR: Sukhbir ‘Dal’ seeks inquiry into sacrileges by a sitting judge of SC

-- 12 January,2018

Chandigarh January 12 – The Shiromani Akali Dal will launch “pol khol lehar” in Punjab in the first week of February to “expose the Congress government’s massive fraud with the beleaguered farmers, khet majdoors, dalits and Backward Classes on loan waiver. During this Lehar, the SAD will take the issue of the Congress to the people with rallies in all 117 assembly constituencies of the state.

This was announced by the party president Sardar Sukhbir SIngh Badal after a marathon meeting of the Core Committee of the party at the party headquarters here this evening.

Mr Badal also announced that a delegation of the SAD comprising Core Committee members will meet the state governor Shri VP Badnor tomorrow morning to seek his intervention to direct the state government to fulfil its promises to farmers, dalits, khet mazdoors and Backward classes.”The total debt according to the Congress itself is 90,000 crore and their total waiver scheme covers less than 700 crore, that less than one percent of the total burden.

The delegation would also ask the Governor for the appointment of an inquiry commission headed by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court to go into the all incidents of sacrilege in Punjab both during the SAD-Government and under the present regime. Mr Badal said that Punjabis had no faith in the fairness and professional objectivity of the Chief Minister’s “evening buddies like Justice Ranjit SIngh retd whose mission in life has been to hate and malign the Shiromani AkaliDal .”Now the only pastime of such retired judges is to enjoy the splash and luxury of evening parties thrown by the Chief Minister. The social media is abuzz with the news and videos of these parties these days. What kind of commitment and honesty can one expect from such evening birds,?” wondered the SAD president.
