Rape cases: Jojo hits out at Harsimrat

Bathinda: A day after former Akali minister Bikram Singh Majithia targeted him at the SAD’s Baisakhi conference in Talwandi Sabo, Finance Minister Manpreet Badal’s brother-in-law Jaijeet Singh Johal alias Jojo has hit out at Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal over her alleged silence on the Kathua and Unnao rape cases. On his Facebook page, Jojo asked the minister, who has been spearheading Nanhi Chhaan — a campaign to save the girl child –why she was keeping mum on these cases (in BJP-ruled states) that had sparked a nationwide outrage. “Were the victims in both cases not daughters of anyone,” he asked. Earlier, Majithia had accused Jojo of making fun of the Scheduled Caste community, besides the alleged collection of “Jojo tax” in Malwa.
