AAP delegation meets Punjab DGP over issue of law and order in state

Chandigarh, February 14, 2019

 The AAP delegation led by Lop Harpal Cheema and deputy Lop Saravjeet Kaur Manuke today met the DGP Punjab over the issue of depleting law and order situation in state.

       Addressing the media after the meeting, Manuke said that the safety of women in state is the issue of utmost concern at present and the incidents of Amritsar and Ludhiana rape cases have shaken the residents of the state. She said that the delegation demanded that serious steps must be taken to curb such incidents. She said that the places in state where such incidents happen frequently must be marked and frequency of police patrolling should be increased. 

       MLA Rupinder Kaur Ruby, Kulwant Pandori and Meet Hayer were also present on the occasion.
