AAP MLAs wore black badges on Friday to protest against their demand of the Punjab Assembly session not being extended.
In Question Hour, AAP and SAD MLAs took on the treasury benches over the outcome of the audit into the scam in the bogus reimbursement under the SC post-matric scholarship scheme.
SC welfare minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot was targeted by opposition benches.
Addressing the press gallery, Dharamsot hit back at the SAD saying the scam happened during the Akali rule.
SAD MLA Parminder Dhindsa alleged that of the Rs 444 crore released under the post-matric scholarship scheme, only Rs 244 crore was reimbursed to the beneficiaries.
AAP MLA Aman Arora protested against their call-attention notices not being taken up.
AAP MLAs stormed into the well of the House against the duration of the House being cut short by a day and raised slogans.
Dhindsa sought an adjournment motion on the farmers’ issue to be taken up for discussion. He said he had moved the adjournment motion on farmers’ issue.
SAD MLAs also protested against their issues “not being taken up”.
Flashing a lock, Arora demanded that the Vidhan Sabha be locked in case the session was not held as per the laid-down procedure.
AAP MLAs staged a walkout on the farmers’ issue, unemployment and old-age pension.
Later, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh arrived in the House.

Bikram Majithia took on the treasury benches for “failing to act against” the Kiri Afgana distillery for causing pollution.
Sukhbir Badal took a dig at the Congress government over limiting the session to a day, setting a new record. He advised the Speaker to limit the session only to obituary references.
Sukhbir said it is murder of democracy. Akalis again stormed into the well of the House and staged a walkout.
Capt Amarinder Singh moved a resolution on recommending reserving one-third seats for women in Parliament.
