Bains brothers threaten agitation in case mining in Punjab is not streamlined

-- 26 March,2018

Chandigarh, March 26

The Bains brothers on Monday threatened to start an agitation after 10 days in case mining in the state was not streamlined.

They were speaking outside the Punjab Assembly.

They said the sand rates had skyrocketed to Rs 38,000 to Rs 45,000 per truck against the normal rates of around Rs 8,000 per truck.

The Lok Insaaf Party leaders said the rates had gone up after Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh conducted the “so-called” helicopter raid.
