CAPT AMARINDER CONDOLES DEATH OF RAHUL BHANDARI’S FATHER-IN-LAW

New Delhi, April 21

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has extended his heartfelt sympathies to Rahul Bhandari, the state government’s Resident Commissioner in Delhi, over the sad demise of his father-in-law Dr. V.K Gupta IRS (retd).

In a condolence message to Rahul Bhandari, a senior Punjab IAS officer, Captain Amarinder said he was with the family in their hour of grief.

The vacuum left by the death of Dr. Gupta, who retired as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax besides after having served in various official capacities, including Director Finance in UP Power Corporation, cannot be fulfilled, said the Chief Minister, expressing his empathy for the bereaved family.

Dr. Gupta is survived by three daughters, including Rahul Bhandari’s wife, Rakhee, also an IAS officer.
