CEO SUMMONS REPORT FROM DISTRICT ELECTORAL OFFICER TARN TARAN

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 13:  

Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab Dr. S. Karuna Raju has summoned a report from District Election Officer, Tarn Taran on the matter of allegedly distribution of

Liquor after a rally held in Tarn Taran district in gross violation of Modal Code of Conduct. 
Giving this information, Dr. Raju said that the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee set up at CEO office has brought to his notice that a news channel is reporting the violation of Modal Code of Conduct by Shiromani Akali Dal by distributing illicit liquor after a rally held in Tarn Taran district.

Dr. Raju said that while taking this matter seriously, he has issued strict instructions to District Election Officer, Tarn Taran to submit a comprehensive report in this regard within 24 hours .
