Channi thanks CM for naming Skill University as Guru Gobind Singh Skill University to be established at Sri Chamkour Sahib

Chandigarh, December 25: The Punjab Technical Education Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi today thanked Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh for naming Skill University which is to be established at Sri Chamkaur as Guru Gobind Singh Skill University. Mr. Channi also thanked Chief Minister for proposing Guru Gobind Singh marg to be made National Highway connecting Sri Anandpur Sahib-Sri Chamkour Sahib with Hazoor Sahib, Nanded. The Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh made this announcement during the 350th Parkash Purb celebrations of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji held at Sri Anandpur Sahib today.

Mr. Channi further said that Skill University at Sri Chamkour Sahib had already been approved by the Punjab Government during the Budget session. He said that this university would be established at the cost of Rs 100 Crore. Mr. Channi said that Punjab Government has has taken a step forward for making our youth skillful to provide them with job opportunities at national and International level. He said that Skill University which is being set up in the state is the first of its kind in the North India and second in the country.
