ECI appoints Mr. B. Srinivasan, IAS as Deputy Commissioner of Bathinda

Chandigarh, 6 April : Election Commissioner of India (ECI) today appoints Mr. B. Srinivasan, IAS as Deputy Commissioner of Bathinda.

Disclosing this here today Chief Electoral Officer Punjab Dr. S. Karuna Raju said that In compliance of the orders of Election Commission of India Mr. B . Srinivasan , IAS , ( PB – 2011 ) is posted as Deputy Commissioner Bathinda . Mr. B . Srinivasan , IAS is currently performing duty as General Observer for the General Election to the Lok Sabha at Telagana .

He further said that as per the Election Commission of India ‘ s instructions , Mr. Kumar Rahul , IAS , is directed to immediately report as General Observer at Telanana and relieve Mr. B . Srinivasan , IAS . Both the officers are directed to immediately send compliance report in this regard.

CEO said that ECI had taken this decision in regards of instructions issued   related to Transfer/Posting of officers on 16th January, 2019 and Mr. Praneet Bhardwaj IAS to report to the Department of Personnel Punjab.
