ECI GIVES PERMISSION TO PURCHASE OF DIETARY , DAILY USE ITEMS AND RAW MATERIAL FOR JAIL FACTORIES THROUGH e-TENDERING

Chandigarh, April 9: The Election Commission of India (ECI) today gave its nod to Punjab Government for purchase of dietary , daily use items and Raw material for Jail Factories through e – tendering.

Chief Electoral Officer Punjab Dr. S Karuna Raju said that ECI had no objection to purchase of dietary, daily use items and raw material for Jail Factories through e-tendering subject to the condition that no undue publicity and political mileage shall be taking by anyone in the matter.
