ECI nod for annual extension of contractual employees of Punjab state

Chandigarh, March 29: The Election Commission of India (ECI) today allowed the Punjab government to give annual extension to its contractual employees of different department, board and Corporations etc.

Divulging further, the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab Dr. S. Karuna Raju said that the Commission has given its permission on the clarification sought by the state government in view of Model Code of Conduct enforced in the state for forthcoming parliamentary elections.
