Employees resolved to support SAD-BJP nominees

Chandigarh, March 22: The Employees’ Wing of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) exhorted all the employees of Punjab to vote and support the SAD- BJP candidates in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls to ensure total defeat of the anti-employees Congress nominees.

In a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Charanji Singh Brar, OSD to the party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, nearly a score of organizations of the Punjab government and employees of various boards and corporation resolved that they would work for the defeat of Congress candidates as the party has usurped the rights of the employees contrary to their promises made in their party manifesto couple of years ago.

The organizations aired their grievances and demanded that the government should immediately put a ban on out sourcing, hiring manpower on contract basis, immediate implement the pay commission report and release all the pending DA installments for relief to the employees.

The employee wing resolved that it work to ensure return of NDA government led by prime minister Narendra Modi and also for the “ Chadhdi Kalan”of the SAD and blamed Congress party for denying he employees their due and taking all possible anti-employees measures as the party is hostile to employees.
