Hawara advises Bargari Morcha leaders to sink differences

Chandigarh, December 19: Akal Takht parallel Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara has called upon the Bargari Insaaf Morcha leaders to  sort out their differences on the withdrawal of agitation and chalk out the next strategy accordingly.

In a communication from Tihar Jail and released here today, Hawara counselled against airing of differences publicly and summoning of parallel meetings.

This agitation launched on June 1 last to demand action against sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib and related cases was withdrawn on December 9.

It may be mentioned that Takht Damdama Sahib parallel Jathedar Baljit Singh Daduwal and some others have objected to withdrawal of agitation by Akal Takht parallel acting Jathedar Dhian Singh Mand following assurances by Punjab Rural and Urban Development Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa and Cooperation and Jails Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.

Hawara counselled them to constitute a committee to decide on follow up action.

It may be mentioned that Hawara is in jail in the case of assassination of Punjab chief minister Beant Singh in 1995.
