Punjab journalists stage dharna in front of Punjab Bhavan demanding access

Chandigarh, June 22: Journalists accredited to the Punjab government in Chandigarh today staged dharna in front of Punjab Bhavan demanding unhindered access.

They were being denied entry by the security pepole for a long time despite the fact that there is no such problem in case of Punjab Civil Secretariat, Punjab Mini Secretariat or the police headquarters.

The dharna was later lifted following written assurance by finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal.
