Punjab Vidhan Sabha: Dues of cane-growers to be cleared in 15 days: Manpreet

Chandigarh, March 26:

Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal on Monday said the Rs 46 crore worth of pending dues of cane-growers would be cleared in the next 15 days.

In the Assembly, Manpreet said the amount had been disbursed.

SAD leaders Parminder Dhindsa and Gurpartap Wadala sought action against Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu for “leaking contents” of the budget. Manpreet defended Sidhu on the issue,

AAP leader Sukhpal Khaira raised the issue of “excessive use of force” against teachers at Ludhiana on Sunday.
