Sara Ali khan has a mind of her own: Prerna Arora

Mumbai,Twenty-three-year-old Sara Ali Khan may well be consulting her mother on Bollywood conduct, but the decision to sign Kedarnath was a personal choice. “Sara made the choice on her own, she did not consult her parents Saif or Amrita,” confirms Prerna Arora, Kedarnath’s producer. Sara took this project as she did not want to wait endlessly for Karan Johar to sign her on. Interestingly, it was only after Sara agreed to do Kedarnath that Amrita stepped in to see that everything was in place for her first film.

After signing the movie, Sara started attending workshops to prepare for her role and is currently busy with reading sessions. “She is doing pretty well. She is also a very attentive listener and that is helping her pick up nuances that the director wants very quickly,” says a source closely linked with the film. Kedarnath, which is a romantic disaster drama, stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara in the lead roles.
