Sikh Federation claims responsibility for killing of Dera followers

Chandigarh, March 6: Sikh Students Federation has claimed responsibility for the killing of two devotees of Dera Sacha Sauda last week at Jagera village near Mandi Ahmedgarh.

The responsibility has been claimed by Jasmit Singh who has signed the press release as the convener of this outfit.

Nothing can be made out about authenticity of this statement. Such outfits were active in Punjab during militancy.

Meanwhile, All India Sikh Students Federation has demanded high level probe in this statement issued under the name of Jasmit Singh saying it appeared to be fake. Its convener Karnail Singh Peermohammad alleged the motive behind it seemed to be to vitiate atmosphere in Punjab. He reiterated that the AISSF strongly condemned such killings.
