SIRSA RAISES ISSUE OF 1984 SIKH MASSACRE VICTIM FAMILIES IN ASSEMBLY

New Delhi/Chandigarh: December 21 : The Delhi MLA Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa today raised issues concerning welfare of victim families of 1984 sikh massacre and urged  the  AAP government to give job to  at least one member of each family 1984 victim families within two months and give them ownership rights of their houses making them free hold or else he would resign as Legislator.

        Raising the issue in Assembly, Mr. Sirsa lamented that AAP had made many promises to the victim families but none was fulfilled.

He presented a  resolution in the house and said that the AAP government should provide jobs to at least one member of each victim family, the houses of the victims in widow colony should be declared free hold and ownership rights should be given to them, they should be given free electricity and water supply as had been done by earlier governments.

He said that  the Congress is a party of murderers, no one can forge alliance with it. He said that assembly should adopt his resolution and November 1 should be named a Black Day in the National Capital.

        He said that in two years he has written four times to Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal on this issue but no action has been taken. He urged Speaker to direct the government to fulfill these promises. He said that it as an MLA he cannot get work done of the public then he has no right to be a Legislator and he will resign as MLA if the government fails to do work in two months time.

        Mr. Sirsa urged Speaker and all members that his resolution should be adopted unanimously as he had raised issues of the victims of worst ever genocide of the world in which members of a particular community were targeted by the goons of the ruling party.
