New Delhi, October 28
Congress president Sonia Gandhi was released from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Saturday, less than 24 hours after being admitted because of an upset stomach.
Gandhi was flown to the hospital in an air ambulance from Shimla — where she was on holiday — at 5 pm on Thursday.
“Mrs Gandhi has recovered from upset stomach and has been discharged today at 4 pm. Her condition at the time of discharge was stable and she has been advised rest,” Dr DS Rana, chairman (Board of Management) of the hospital.
