Chandigarh, March 18

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the owners of the much-hyped Grand Manor Homes taken serious note of the breaking open the government seal to gain entry into the multi-crore project office.

In a statement issued from party headquarters in Chandigarh here on Monday, deputy leader of opposition (Dy LoP) Bibi Sarvjit Kaur Manuke said that until or unless the Cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu, the alleged kingpin in the multi-crore scam, was removed from the post, the law would have no impact on the high profile owners enjoying political patronage.

Manuke said that the Captain government’s initiating no action against the ‘tainted’ minister revealed its intentions to offering a protective cover to the minister. Since no action had been taken against Ashu, he had been indulging in browbeating the investigation and performing his ministerial duties as usual, which Manuke said, was nothing but mockery of the law.

Taking potshot at local bodies minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, Manuke said that he bragged about his stern stance over the corruption, his own department was head over heels in corruption, she said. She said that Captain should immediately sack Ash and let the justice had its course. She also demanded action against the owners of the Grand Manor Homes for taking law in their own hands.
