Unfortunate that Arun Jaitley conveyed displeasure to Sajjan on passing resolution declaring November 84 killing of Sikhs a Genocide- Phoolka

Aam Aadmi Party senior leader and leader of opposition in Punjab vidhan sabha, Adv. H.S. Phoolka today stated that it is unfortunate that Arun Jaitley, Defence Minister, conveyed his objections to Harjit Singh Sajjan, Defence Minister, Canada on passing of resolution declaring Nov’84 Killing of Sikhs a ‘Genocide’. Phoolka stated that Ontario Assembly has rightly declared this killing as Genocide.

It is shocking and surprising that why Akali-Dal, an alliance partner in the Central Government and the Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal are silent. It appears that for them their personal interests are more important than the ‘Cause’.

Phoolka stated that the silence of Akali-Dal and Harsimrat Badal is supporting Congress and Captain Amarinder Singh stalling the declaration of Nov’84 killing as ‘Genocide’. Captain Amarinder Singh’s barb against the Canadian Defence Minister was aimed at stalling the Canadian Parliament from declaring Nov’84 killing as ‘Genocide’.
